Wow, I can't believe that last weekend we celebrated Banks's 2nd birthday. Wow. WOW! Where does time go? I'm not going to spend this post being sappy about Banks growing up. I'll save that for his 2 year benchmark post...
Banks's present from us was a train table. As many of you know, he loves trains. He loves Thomas the Train a lot, but he just really loves trains in general. His sweet Papa Ted and Nama Jane gave him a train set too! We have loads of tracks and trains now!
Since his big presents were train-related, it only made sense to have a train-themed party! Ideally, we planned to have the party at the park in our neighborhood which has a giant wooden train to play on. In reality, the weatherman predicted a high of 42 degrees that day so the party was moved inside my house. Yikes! That's a lot of little people inside the house!
Fortunately, the kiddos were super good! They played with the train table, train tent, bubbles and Banks's toys. They decorated train shaped cookies and consumed far too much sugar.
And when they left, Banks looked at me and said, "Where the birthday go, mommy?"
Precious child. Happy birthday sweet boy.
Thank you to all of the friends and family that made his birthday party so special for him! He's still talking about it!

So, So Sweet! Happy childhoods make for happy grown-ups! What a great job you did on the party. Don't know who is luckier...Banks or his Mom and Dad. Happy 2nd Birthday my Banksy! Yaya loves you!

Wow! He is TWO!!! What a sweet, sweet boy! Looks like ya'll had fun. I LOVE the idea of putting a train set in the middle of the table. So creative! Happy Birthday Banks!
