Time Out in the Middle of Nowhere

Sometimes, you just have to pull over and give the kid a time out.

Kicking Off Summertime

The pool is still a little chilly, but we're kicking off summer here! We need to soak up as much of this neighborhood pool as we can, because once we move we might not have as much access to the pool this summer!

Last Day of Pre-K

How is my baby already finished with Pre-K? Where did the year (years) go?! He looks so grown to me now, but I know he's not yet. How do you begin to thank the precious teachers who loved and nurtured his little heart while giving him the best year in school we could have asked for? He loved Mrs. Lynn and Mrs. Haylee with his whole heart. I hope I never forget that first day of Pre-K when he told me, "The first rule of Pre-K is when you get to school, hug your teachers!" How precious! And he truly did.... every. single. day. He hugged them and loved them like family. I praise God for this time we've had in Statesboro and the most wonderful people we've met here along the way!

The ending of Tee Ball

What a great little season! I had a great time watching these little ones, and Banks seemed to really enjoy it too! Love that Miss Megan was able to come and watch our final game - she's the best babysitter ever and is really more like family! The kids just ADORE her!

FBC Spring Concert

As we walk through all these "lasts" before our big move back to SC, my heart is filled with thanks to all of the people and places that have loved and nurtured our family as we grew from two to four and grew roots in this precious Georgia town. FBC Statesboro is one of those places. They took us in and we found friends there that will always be like family to us. The spring concert was a sweet way to start wrapping up our time in their children's ministry.
