Marvelous Me Boy

He jumps into my car at the pick-up line at school. 

"Mommy, mommy! I'm the Marvelous Me Boy!"

 

It's the greatest week in the life of a kindergartner. The week that is all about them. 

We carefully prepare for the week by completing our questionnaire so the class can learn all about Banks.

 

We send a CD of his favorite relaxing music for the class to listen to at rest time. Amazing Grace, Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, You Are My Sunshine, and a collection of Jack Johnson from the Curious George Soundtrack. 

We create a special treat for his classmates. He requests rice crispy treats. We make them into fun fall pumpkins to make them special.

The best day of the week is Friday! Willie Bear comes home for the weekend! What fun!

We have a big weekend planned with Willie Bear. We have to show him how fun it is to be Banks! We take him on lots of adventures.... backyard camping, running around the pond, watching the Clemson game...

We capture our adventures in pictures so the class can see all the fun we had!

Perhaps the most precious and entertaining part of the week was the end. Banks and his daddy wrote our Willie Bear story. Priceless.

We love you, sweet Banks! You are always our Marvelous Me Boy!
