Upward Soccer

Banks is finally old enough for soccer! He was so excited to go to his first practice! We were so surprised at how well he did handling the ball for the first time. Considering we didn't own our own soccer ball before now, we were happy with how well he did!

My favorite conversation was when he saw Miss Megan a few days later. It took him a while to wrap his mind around the whole "no hands on the ball" thing.

Banks: I can play soccer. Did you know you can't use your hands?
Miss Megan: I know! That's the rules of soccer!
Banks: Why? It isn't poison.

So here we are. Finally old enough for organized sports. Our lives are getting busier, but I love every. single. minute.
