Kackleberry Farms was tons of fun! There's a pumpkin patch too, but I'm going to post separately about that. There were loads of activities, a petting zoo, tractors, music, and more. They boys played for hours!
Banks and Parker loved feeding the animals (or "aminals" as Banks likes to say) out of their hands! They fed baby sheep, baby goats, and donkeys. When we came home, Banks insisted that he also fed a "scawy (scary) water buffalo!" I assure you, there were no water buffalo!
Seriously, they had so much fun! Can you tell?
Banks told me later that his favorite thing was "jumpin' in the hay." They had 6 foot hay bales, and you jumped off of them into a pile of hay that broke your fall.
Jonathan decided that our 2 year old was old enough for a Zip Line. Yes, you read that correctly. A Zip Line. As in, place your 2 year old 12 feet in the air on a swing while they zip down a 50 foot line to the bottom. Is there a net to catch your precious child, you ask? No. Do they wear helmets in case they fall on their heads? No. Is there a height requirement to ensure this is a safe activity? No. They just rely on your parental judgment. Clearly, J and I have different judgment. (PS - I realize he's closer to 3 than to 2, but when it's an activity I don't condone, he's "just 2.")The picture above was taken on his third trip down. He does look awfully happy, doesn't he? Oh, my fearless child!!

Banks is right at 36 inches tall! He looks a little shorter in this picture because he's leaning back and slouching, but he's right at 36 inches!
Tractor pedal racing with his daddy! Banks wasn't able to make it around the track on his own, so he and J hopped on a bigger tractor and took off!
