At 13 months, you are so BUSY! Finally, you are walking! Honestly, you just started walking a few days before you turned 13 months old. You went from refusing to walk unless holding our hand, to walking flawlessly around the house like you had been doing it for months! Had you been practicing in your crib at night? As if you didn't want to show us your new skill until it was perfected?
You are learning more words and signing pretty consistently. You sign more, milk and all done, and you have been doing that for several months. You nod and shake your head to answer questions. You say the following words regularly and others more sporadically:
Mama
Dada
Buudaa (brother)
bana (banana)
mah (me)
roar
ni ni (night night)
You out-eat Banks for most meals, and you are finally starting to fill out yourself! Now that you are walking, you are clearly less frustrated and you've gotten even sweeter to be around!
You still have 8 teeth, but others keep trying to work their way through your gums.
You love to "rock rock" at night time. Most nights, we do rock you to sleep. If you wake in the middle of the night though, you are on your own to go back to sleep. We sleep all night around here, Eli! Occasionally you seem to want to be rocked at 4 AM, but we are not going to cave!
You are just so sweet, Eli! You are so different in so many ways from Banks, but you are just as sweet!
